Why you can't sit down without making a statement

Analogy-This helps you to compare something to an unfamiliar thing to something more familiar. The best and most obvious example of this is when Caron uses his "Why should i care? I don't eat flowers." He takes what he is talking about in his entire article and applies it to something completely different yet makes it work.

Tone-Although this isn't one of the bolded terms within the book, I believe that this article has a very thorough tone throughout the whole article. He writes and uses language that is necessary for the article. He has an authority and educated position on the subject matter, yet he doesn't come off demanding. The article is effective and persuasive and perfectly targets the audience.

Rhetorical question-One of the most obvious underlying things about the article is the rhetorical questions within the article itself. Questions such as if everyone can afford it and whether or not it is really necessary for everyone to go organic. The author truly knows what he wants and expresses that clearly.
