My general topic is NAFTA. To narrow it, I am either going to focus on the negative affects on Mexican farmers, or the negative affects on U.S. factory workers. Critics of NAFTA say it has caused U.S. companies to send jobs from the U.S. to Mexico, because labor is much cheaper there. So businesses are taking advantage of Mexicans, and many jobs have been taken away from low wage jobs in the U.S. Also, small Mexican farms have suffered because of businesses.
I could argue that moving your business to a country that has no minimum wage is morally wrong and should be a punishable thing. I could also argue that NAFTA has caused American jobs to be lost, and wages to lower at jobs that could have been transferred across the border
