World Trade: The Final Frontier?

Post a paragraph which includes: what article you choose; the researched information that you found; and your analysis of how this affects the content or approach of the article, with at least one specific example.

For the mini-rhetorical analysis assignment, I chose article 6-b. This article was written by Johan Norberg: a Swedish liberal and a "Trekkie." It seems to me that he uses a Utopian approach to world trade; something very befitting those obsessed with the Star Trek Universe. In Star Trek, mankind has dropped all borders, united under a world government, and now reaches into space. Johan's talk of tearing down "iron curtains" of trade and opening borders seems to be a written expression of fantasies he hold's very dear. Perhaps he'd like to appear on television when/if his ideas become reality to say "Engage!" and usher in the new age of trade?
