I chose article 7-D. The author of the article is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. They espouse very liberal and, as implied by their name, socialist policies. She is writing this article for the Baltimore Sun. Her audience is presumably more liberal as well based on the area of circulation for this particular newspaper. She shows her contempt for Wal-mart by refering to them as aliens. She also refers exclusively to the negative aspects of Wal-mart. She also demonizes those who would disagree with her citing George Will.
