Globalization article 7-b
The author makes good use of the past as a referant to how things were done, and how she feels they were better. She makes a good appeal to the pathos by bringing in relevant and persoanl stories. The ethos is well established by her reference to her hometown and how she described how it used to be. We found her logos argument to be lacking; she focuses mostly on emotional reasons against progress. She allows these reasons to distract from the logical and emotional reasons behind progress. She tends to ignore arguments for globilization brushing them off as though change were 100% bad.
