Homosexuality in the political process

I was going to do the effects of Barak Obamas candidacy on the passage of prop 8. I had to narrow it to focus on the effects of differing racial views on homosexuality as regaurds to politics. I belive that I can argue using definition by class or caatagorey. i can also use comparison by difference.
