6-B We Need Sincere Free Trade

Johan Norberg is an interesting fellow. As a young man he declared his views on politics as an anarchist, then later he changed his views and become a full throttle liberalist. His liberal views prompted him to receive a M.A. in history of ideas, with an emphasis in political science, literature, and philosophy. With his credentials he is amply capable to discuss the ideas of a free trade. His use of imagery with how much money is used for the protection of European trade, was simply incredible. Thinking that much money is spent on the protection of European trade instead of being able to help impoverished countries is almost inhumane. Being a native European, most people would think that Johan would be fine with being in one of the countries protected by these trade policies, but he has been able to look past what it might do for his own country and to look towards the good of the whole world.
